Re: Motorcycle training schools?

I'll second this recommendation. I wanted to learn how to ride a motorcycle
because I was considering a bike, but didn't know how to ride one. The
course ran Thursday through Sunday. Thursday and Friday evenings were spent
in the classroom, reviewing rules of the road, how to be visible, problems
to be aware of, etc. All day Saturday and Sunday morning were spent in the
parking lot, on bikes supplied by the program. At the end of the course, we
were given a riding test to pass the class. If we passed, we were allowed
to take the second test for the MD Motorcycle license. I passed, and
received my license.

It's the best way to learn. Try convincing a friend or neighbor to let you
take his/her bike for a ride to "see if you can do it".

Go to http://msf-usa.org/ for more info on the program, or

http://www.ganet.org/dps/ for info on GA programs.

Or call 800-245-4410 for info in GA.

Good luck!
