An aftermarket CD changer (i.e. Sony, Kenwood Pioneer) will work with any
stereo. The installation includes an in line connection with the car's
antenna coaxial lead. The other connections are for power, memory backup
and ground. A wired control that can be mounted on the dash is also
included for cd changer power on & CD selection/programming. Once
installed, tune the car's radio to an FM frequency somewhere around 89 Mhz
to hear CD playback. You'll want to program one of your radio's presets for
that frequency for future CD playback.
I have one installed in my '87 325 and works great, no skips.
