Tires - will flat spot and will crack. If driven every month or two, they
will be fine. Driving pushes the waxy substance to the surface that will
protect them. The alternative is to coat them in cosmoline - messy.
Suspension - will be helped if you put the car on jack stands. This will
also assist the tires in no flat spotting.
Engine - driving the car for about 1/2 hour every month or two is the best
idea. If it will not be driven, you will have a lot of deterioration unless
the engine is very well protected. You might want to drain the cooling
system. Put in high grade synthetic oil. Also check Eastwood Company for
little devices that are inserted in the spark plug sockets to keep things dry.
A/C - the seals will dry out if the a/c is not run every month or two.
Gas - put in a fuel preservative. This will prevent varnish from clogging
the fuel system.
Dry - Keep it in a dry, dry place.
Battery - remove it and give it away if the car will not be driven.
Another alternative is to sell it. Something to consider.
