<FS> Cross Spoke Wheels 8 X 16

I recently bought a set (4) of E38 Cross Spoke wheels (8 X16) that were from
a 97 740il.  I had been lead to believe by several people that they would
fit my 90 735il with no problems.  Guess what....not so!  The wheels bolt up
okay without tires, but with tires on them, the tire hits the front strut
tower....rears are okay.  I tried 2 different size Michelin Pilot
tires....245/50/16 & 225/55/16...neither would work.  Fortunately, I was
able to return the tires to Costo.

So I want to sell the wheels.  They are in excellent condition (no curb
rash, not bent,  but there are the usual marks you get from mounting &
dismounting tires).  Center caps are included.

I'm asking just what I paid for them - $450 (US dollars).  I would prefer
not to ship them but I will, at buyer's expense, if necessary.  I'm located
in Northern VA.  So if you're interested or know someone that is please

BTW the offset on these wheels is 23.
