Fwd: Bad Air temp sensor ?

Shri:

The first thing I would try is to check the connector to
the air flow meter. This is a classic place to find water
and/or corrosion. It is kind of tucked under the air flow
meter itself, so you will have to fish around a bit. If
that is not it, I don't have further specifics.

On the ignition parts, I consider the cap and rotor 50K
miles consumeables, same for the wires at 100K. Others
differ. If you would like the long, I-remember-and-apply-
my-college-phyics answer, drop me a note and I will be
happy to send it along. If you really believe the cap
and rotor are 124K miles old, replace them now!

Also, the price you quoted is a little high BavAuto
no affiliation, etc.) gets $190, before their Club
discount!

Have fun, Larry F.
