When you are driving your car, the stereo is not feeding out of the battery
but from the alternator/rectifiers/charger complex, you can actually remove
the battery with the car running and the car will stay the same, lights and
stereo will keep working. To really drain the power you'll have to have a
multi amp system, which no installer will do without taking power
considerations, so basically. No.
What can be is that whoever installed the speakers damage something on your
wiring, just enough to cause an occasional short-circuit at some point and
therefore killing the car. If you suspect that could be a problem review all
wiring located where the car was "touched" , behind all panels that were
removed etc.
