the 14" 4-bolt pattern, any style. I think I can get some steal wheels
for a few hundread, but if you've been looking to get rid of those four
wheels in the basement please call me at 609-918-0024. I might also
consider 15" wheels for summer tires. 14" would be better though so I
can switch wheels with the 2002, 19 years its junior. Man I love BMW's.
On the subject of snow tyers, I can tell you that 205/60R14 dunlop
d60A2'are a bad bet, even with 80 lbs. of sand sliding around in the
back. But probably better than the 215/60r14's <Parkways> from canada I
just replaced that were practically slicks.
To the person with redline ATF in his gearbox: At least with redline
MTL, I can tell you that it is MUCH harder to switch gears in
sub-freezing temperatures until the transmission warms up. I would
think the lower viscosity of the "slush-box juice" would make this less
of an issue. My newly aquired leak at the output seal after switching
to synthetic has stopped me from using any lower viscosity oil at the
moment, but there's always next winter.
