Michel,
I hate to tell you, but your hosed. This will never pass a smog visual here
in CA. The salesman lied to you. The way to know is if there is a
EO#(Exucutive Order) for the CARB certification.
Go to:
http://www.smogcheck.ca.gov/smoghome.htm
This is the official CA web site. You can look up aftermarket parts to see if
there is an EO# for any company who spent the time an money to get one. Very
useful resource for just this kind of problem.
For your immediate problem, the only suggestion is to remove the header and put
the original exhaust back on. Sorry.
Take Care,
Russ
