I've read nothing lately (last six months) about a new 6-series. At one
time there was talk about an E39 based 6-series. Then the story was a
6-series based on the upcoming (delayed?) new 7-series. Then I heard a
rumor (from a BMW dealer salesperson) saying that a new 6-series would be
based on the E39 5er. Has anyone heard or read anything halfway credible
lately?
