My 1986 535i automatic tranny is developing a starting problem. It
will no longer start in PARK. I can still start it by shifting into
NEUTRAL.
I know there is a starter interlock of some sort that I suspect is the
problem.
Could someone give me directions on how to find and replace this part, or
if it is likely another problem, please advise me on what the likely cause
is?
