Thanks Kyle for the info.  I will be picking the car up next week. The car has been sitting in the shop for about five years so I feel that it is due for some overhauling. 

Where can I get a hold of the bentley manuals?  Also do you know of any sites on the net that has the specs and/or FAQ on the 89 325i? 

All I can say is that I can't wait to get it.  :)
