Dinan chip for 1987 528e

Thanks, Dave, for the info.  Someone here advertised a Dinan chip for sale for an
'87 528e, which is the car I own.   Does anyone here with the same or similar car
(same engine and similar age)  have any experience with the Dinan chip?  I do not
race or drive my car hard, and it's an automatic trans.  Would I notice any
difference in performance with the chip.  It's a great car for my purposes, but I
wouldn't mind more acceleration.  I would appreciate all replies.
