Hmmm...favorite M3 tire - that's opening a can of worms!  Here are my votes:

Expensive:
BFG G-Force KD
Bridgestone S-02 PP

Less Expensive:
Toyo Proxes T1 Plus
Yokohama AVS-S1
Firestone SZ50

Cheap (but remember, "cheap" is relative...)
Yokohama Nexus (on sale at the Tire Rack)
Dunlop SP-8000
