E28 radiator replacement - something better available?

Hi everyone,

I will need to replace the rad in my E28 sometime soon. It has 
already had new side tanks installed once before and as far as I 
know that means it's pretty well beyond another repair.

I don't really like the aluminum and plastic construction of this unit 
very much. Does anyone know if there are other suitable rads that 
could be used in place of it? I understand the E12 rad is *brass* 
which seems like it should be much more durable/easy to repair if 
necessary.

So anyone with any ideas, can you help me out?
