RE: OEM CD Changer?

Dustin,

I looked ovet the web site and must say that it looks pretty good. =
Their
prices are great too, but then I found where they are located - these
guys are in Brooklyn, NY. Read the fine print numerous times and make
sure your credit card company will protect you in case they will try to
pull something. Note that even though the web site says that the =
changer
is "compatible" with the factory radio in the '99 3 and 5 series, they
also say in the Customer Service section, that they are not responsible
for typographical errors, and that all sales are final. They also say
that prices can change at any time without notice and they will charge
you whatever the price is at the time of your order. While this is not
unusuall and I would not normally point this out, but they are in
Brooklyn, NY... All this basically means that, if you are not happy =
with
your order because, say the changer really doesn't fit the '99 3 =
series,
they are NOT responsible and will not take back the changer. Also, they
can change the price at any time and also not be responsible.
Furthermore, I would only give it at most 50% likelihood that their
claims of "compatibility" are true and genuine. Incidentally, I have
been investigating any aftermarket equipment compatibility with the '99
5 series for the past month or so, and so far had no luck. This =
includes
calling Crutchfield.

Chris,

Lived in NY for a year, and had enough.

P.S> This is my opinion, and only my opinion, and I could be wrong :)
