Rodney Moore told us that the service bulletin talks about how the
transmission will use the 'sport' mode to keep the revs up and quicken
the warm up process.  If you don't agree with that philosophy and wish
to upshift anyway, that can be accomplished by selecting the Manual mode
with the A/M switch.  With the gear selector in 'D', the transmission
will shift all the way up to 5th. After a few blocks of driving, the
Adaptive mode can then be reselected and you'll be back to normal.
