Do not use PVC. It is only rated up to 140 degrees F. I've measure under
hood temperatures, on the intake side, in excess of 140 degrees. It starts
to get soft around 140 degrees. There are a number of web pages that have
specs on PVC, they all list 140 degrees as the highest temperature.
