Hey Jon, 

What the heck? How do you know I'm not careful? Where do you read that I
slide around in traffic? I don't. I spin the tires a bit when starting off.
As I said, this tells me how much traction I have. So that I *won't* slide
in traffic. I think this benefits safety. It's like feeling where you put
your feet before you walk on a slippery surface.

Yes, it's very important that there's plenty of room if you're going to be
goofy. Make double sure. I look around, and around, and again. 

Don't know what the driver of that bus was doing, though.
