Instrument lights

The amber light that provides me with a beacon glowing behind such things as
my temp gauge, speed, etc... seems to have at first diminished behind the temp
gauge has lost its luster (only behind temp gauge). Now the panel doesn't seem
to have a light on the right side.
Any clues on how I can reconcile this. Its not that I use it I just want it to
look NICE.
