E30 M3 using M Coupe diff/gear?

According to the latest Roundel, the M Coupe uses a 4.44 ratio
E30 LSD. This is precisely the ratio needed for an E30 M3, and
also it's pretty obvious this diff is up to the power. Think
it's possible to swap diff's? (or even just swap ring gears?)
Korman is charging ~1600 for a rear end ratio change =(
