Q: E30 amplifier wiring?

I would have to agree with your salesman. Have you thought of running wire
directly from a new head unit to the new speakers and then putting in an
amp latter? I am not sure of the power the stock e30 amp puts out but I
don't think it will be that much. A head unit should be able to give you
around 30 watts - enough? - probably.

Dave 87 325 - 2 out of the 6 speakers working  - dead amp.
