i am coming into this late (after two weeks of hellish activity at work)
and don't want to get into an existing discussion, but i (as list admin) do
need to make one thing PERFECTLY CLEAR:

the BMW Digest is run in full conformance with all appropriate Internet
RFCs. in other words, it is a fully standard digest. to the extent that
messages have problems, they are out of conformance with internet
standards, or outside of digest guidelines and/or policy.
