hella lights

my current fog lights are blown, there is something wrong with it
also, i am using the stock fog light opening for cold air ducts
i am thinking of getting the Hella driving lights (rally type)
just wanna know if anyone has installed it on their e30.
do i need to worry about anything?
i think it is 6" in dia. and i plan to mount it under my bumper - to the sides
of the license plate.
also, which is better, regular driving lights, dichoric or pencil lights?
