Nailpolish remover works too and is even cheaper. Get the most basic kind,
it's the acetone that you want. I think Goof Off is mainly acetone too.

I don't think these things dissolve original paint, but I have a bottle of
touch up paint that's acetone based (it looks just like a nailpolish bottle
as well :) and acetone will take it off.

Anyway, to be sure whatever you use is safe on your paint, soak a paper
towel or something with it and rub just a bit in an inconspicious area. If
your paper towel picks up the color of the paint, don't use it. If your
paper towel picks up dirt... wash your car sometime.
