re: E30 Alternator

The alternator on my '91 325i died at 75k.  It was not a Bosch.  From what
I understand, Bosch could not supply enough alternators to BMW during
production, so BMW installed some French alternators.  Not as well made.
Over several months, I had intermittent power problems.  The V1 was always
the first to go, then other system check lights came on.  I replaced it
with a Bosch.

Definitely have it checked out soon.  It could leave you stranded.
