Re: O2 sensor

I was not noticing any problems but recently decided to replace the O2 sensor
(maybe the original one) in my 87 535i.  Using the part number available here,
I purchased the Bosch Mustang sensor.  Now when accelerating I often notice a
significant loss of power for a few seconds.  This began after installation of
the new sensor.  Did I get a defective sensor, splice the wires poorly or
what?  Any advice will be appreciated.
