re: SAAB with piston as ground for spark

 My cousins-husband in the good ol Fatherland drove an early 80's
 Italian Alfa sedan.  (twin overhead cams i think)

 Either the ground electrode broke away from the spark plug, or the wrong
 kind of spark plug was install..can't remember exactly, and..

 a hole got burned into the top center of one of the pistons,
 attributed to the spark jumping from the plug top the top of the piston!
