My '94 325is had such a squeak.  I initially though it was emanating from 
the linkage under the dash.  Later, when operating the clutch with the door 
open, it became clear that the squeak was coming from the bell housing 
area, not from under the dash.  The dealer fixed the problem by dropping 
the transmission and replacing a pivot (under warranty).  If you need the 
precise name of the part and the part number I can find it for you.
