RE: Anybody else experienced parking lot troubles with your BMW?

I think you some of you guys were a bit judgemental of John. I don't double
park and I don't condone it, but as John said in his post, it wasn't very
busy. Maybe there were only 5 cars in a parking lot that holds 2500 cars -
if that was the case then who cares if John took up two spaces in the back
of the lot. The point is why don't we try and be a little less judgemental
when we are not in possession of the full facts.  People are a little quick
to jump on the soapbox around here. John, I can totally relate to your
desire to want to take care of something you enjoy.  And I agree that some
people don't really give much consideration to how their habits affect other
people, including bashing into the side of your beautiful car.  I personally
have not had a problem with cars dings as I always park in the back of the
parking lot preferably next to another really nice car - I figure if the guy
next to me has just as much to lose then we are both safe.  Bottom line - I
enjoyed your story. Stuff like that is a nice relief from alot of the crap
that has been flying around this digest recently.
