Many thanks to jim, nice response

  No it isn't.. that's a popular misconception..

While the O2 sensor is only active under conditions that could be calle=
d
"part load" under load X and rpm Y.. the mixture adaptation numbers tha=
t
are formulated from the O2 sensor WHEN it's active (generally a low spe=
ed
additive and a mid speed multaplicative correction) are used EVEN under=

  WOT conditions!

Open loop only means that FEEDBACK is not occuring right now.

WELL,IF FEED BACK ISNT OCCURING RIGHT NOW, ISNT THAT OPEN LOOP? I ALSO D=
ID
TWO DYNO RUNS WITH THE O2 SENSOR DISCONNECTED AND THE PLOTS WERE THE SAME=
. =

I HAVE HEARD OF YOUR DISCRIPTION THE 02 SENSOR IS ALWAYS BEING USED, BU=
T
MY TESTS SHOW OTEHR WISE. SO, IF THE FEEB BACK IS NOT OCCURING, AND =
I
UP THE FUEL PRESSURE , WONT THE DURATION OF INJECTORS JUST FOLLOW THE
PROGRAMING OF THE DME ? WONT THE MIXTURE RICHEN UP , LIKE I SAW VERY
OBVIOUSLY FROM MY TORQUE, HP AND HOBIRA air fuel measuring equip on the
dyno. =

It does NOT mean that the correction factors are now ignored..

Not WRONG.. they just omit the most important aspects of it.. they are
not stupid, Mark.. they don't RELEASE information on how the DME really=

  works.. <

i>>>>>>>>>>>>I UNDERSTAND ABOUT THE SECRETS OF THE afm. . BUT I AM=

COURIOUS ABOUT YOUR STATEMENT RECARDING THE O2 SENSOR BEING INGNORED BUT
CORRECTION FACTORS ARE . HOW???
