RE: 318ic purchase

  Hello all,

  I am looking at a 92 318ic and remembered that the 318 is the BMW with 
the profile gasket problem.  Can someone please remind me what of the 
nature of the problem?  Also any pointers on what else to look at would be 
great.  The car has 62K miles and is priced at $9,995.  (typical dealer 
pricing, why do they do that?)
