rev-limiter - cheap cars

I don't get this? Why should BMW pay for this? YOU are the one making
 the mistake, not BMW. YOU should learn how to shift properly, it is
 YOUR hand and YOUR feet doing serious harm to the engine, NOT BMW.
 Are you going to try to get BMW to pay for you speeding ticket also?
They(BMW)
 make cars that can go faster than 55 or 65 MPH. But it is YOUR
responsibility
 to take care of the speed limits and/or design limits. I think that you
should not put
 the blame on BMW but on yourself! I see this behavior quite a lot on
your
 side of the pond(USA). You tend to get rid of your responsibilities and
put
 them at the manufacturers. Get real! YOU ARE MAKING THE STUPID
 MISTAKE! If you cannot drive a stick-shift properly, don't, take an
automatic
 or better an ECVT!!!

 So a bit more further on it was written about a cheap fast car. Take an
'83 - '85
 E23 745! Cheap to buy, blast to drive! Cost ~ 3000 - 4000 US$.
