Which Helmet is Best?

Hi Peter,
Smart thing going to a school _before_ modifying your car!  Try
http://www.racerwholesale.com  They have a great catalog with lots of
helmet info, explaining M vs.SA, DOT vs. Snell etc.  Their web site even
has helmets at end of season specials now.  I would advise an SA90 or
better, because it was designed for automotive applications, and will
stay serviceable longer-and if you ever go Club Racing, it will be
acceptable whereas the M rated helmets will not be.
You might also contact your local Chapter - Racer Wholesale has been
known to give quantity dicsounts for relatively small orders - if they
know of others also looking for helmets, perhaps you could get a price
cut by combining orders.
