Being 17, people don't take to kindly about me owning a car, never-the-less
a '84 318i.  I have a good mechanic, but he never exactly took me
seriously, until i proved i know my stuff (researched via the BMW board
[thanks guys!]).  I went in telling him the exact problem and what needed
to be fixed.  But i took it even further.  When he told me he didn't know
how long it would be until the part was in, so i took care of that one.
Called up Bavarian Autosport and had the part the next day.  even showed my
mechanic the price, and it surprised him.  Also, Midas, and Goodyear, helps
to know what's wrong, and don't let them talk you inot something else.
