dishsoap); and, unfortunately, plain water is not such a good idea -- the
detergent qualities of a proper car wash assist in "lifting" off and/or
dissolving dirt and road grime, thereby eliminating/minimizing paint damage
in the cleaning process.  After using various car wash products for a while
(along with Larry Reynolds' recommended detail/finish products), I asked
Larry about a car wash; he suggested and I tried Sonax Gloss Shampoo --
great stuff; makes for good and easy cleaning; and, leaves the car looking
so good you may be able to extend the period between waxes.
