You most likely have an electrical problem. Things I did
when curing the same preoblem:

	Clean every fuse and wiring connector is sight with
	fine grit paper.

	New fuel pump relay (worked for a mate, didn't fix mine)

	New main relay

	New unloader relays

Lack of fuel pressure will cause the engine to stutter
before dying. To see what I mean remove the fuel pump relay
with the engine running (this is how to de-pressurize the
fuel system for maintenance BTW).
