In regards to Jim Ouchi's message on Armor All; what would be better?
I just purchased new Pilots for my M-3 and would like to keep them
     clean and glossy.

     David,

Feel free to use Armorall on the Pilots. Or P-Zeros or anything
equivalent. Keep it out of the interior and especially the seals
around your windows and doors. Here's why. It eats rubber. Not
quickly but slowly. So why can you use it on tires? Because they
just don't last that damn long. Sure I guess if you're an
insufferable purist (Do we know any of those?) then its not doing your
tires any good. But seriously the tire is made to sluff rubber over
its life and by the time Armorall has a chance in hell of affecting
your sidewalls, the tread on a high performance tie will have worn
away and they'll be festering in a recycling yard. So use Vinylex and
Gummiphlege (how is that spelled anyway?) on the inside and seals.
Use whatever suits your need for gloss on the tires.

PS: If you are one of those types that's buying 80,000 mile tires for
your Bimmer then you might want to stay away from Armorall. And also
please stay away from me in decreasing radius turns... :)
