Following this thread...
My '90 535i has 175K on it now, with the original wheel bearings. Can
anyone tell me how long wheel bearings can be expected to last before
they start to act up? I imagine it depends on how the car is driven,
etc. Mine has never been raced, but has endured urban potholes in
Pittsburgh and Baltimore for 6 years now.
Any guesses as to when I can expect mine to start going? Am I living
on borrowed time now?
