CRYOGENICS

There was a very good article in the Kansas City Star, Monday August
24th 1998, by Lee Hill Kavanaugh.

He starts with an example of a company that uses metallic rotors to cut
steel. They are generally good for seven cuts then needed replacement.
Using ones that had been "frozen" the company gets "21 cuts ahd the
rotor teeth stay perfect." The missouri Highway Patrol has had some
brake rotors treated and are currently running a service application to
see if there is an improvement.

This company has treated nearly anything you can name from scissors to
engine blocks, they say with excellent results. Some cost examples,
scissors @domain.elided, golf clubs $12.50 each aluminum baseball bats $25.00 and
a trumpet $79.50

The man who runs the company is Gary Crabtree. He worked for
AlliedSignal for a number of years in a VERY high tech. operation. The
company is Techspec Inc. Perhaps someone in the K.C. area could get in
touch with him and provide more information. IMHO the process that he
uses sounds technically valid and just might work
