Tire choice

Starting to think about a new set of tires for a '86 528e.
Car is run around town 95% of the time as a commuter car, but has to stand
in occasionally for short freeway trips or an occasional 1000 mile trip to
LA and Back from the SF bay area. Possibility of lots of rain in the
winter, so wet traction and hydroplane resistance is important. Don't race
or autocross (unless avoiding idiot's driving behavior in commute counts
- -probably does to some degree!)
4 Candidates in 195/70 HR size:
Michelin Energy MXV4
Bridgestone Potenza RE92
Dunlop D60A2 JBL
Pirelli P4000
Any of you have experience and able to share what you know? - Wet
traction/Hydroplane resistance, Noise and ride, cost,
Leaning towards the Pirelli and only concern is the Tire Rack info indicates
it rates 3rd of the 4 in hydroplane resistance.
Thanks
Harvey
