Massive Track Time

Monty Sidhu, presidente of the Equipe Sin City (Las Vegas  BMW club)

Always in search of more track time, on new tracks, I  checked 
this out,  and think that it will be a great opportunity for  the 
Westerners on the List to get some massive track time on a first 
class track.  The track is situated on a series of hills,  which will 
make it a lot more fun than the typical new tracks, which tend to be 
a bit flat.  It was built specifically for Corvettes, so it is FAST, 
yet has a lot of technical turns.

Pahrump is a Casino Town, which means that, unlike most tracks which 
are out in the boondocks, entertainment, food, and SHADE are close 
by.  Moreover, the chapter is catering breakfast and lunch AT the 
track (part of the modest sign up price of $290).  

The instructors, me included,  are standing in line to teach there, 
because they all want to see, teach and drive on a new track.  There 
will definitely not be a shortage of instructors.  Ironically, 
because it is a new track, students are being a bit slow to sign up, 
which means that there is a good chance that there will be a 
relatively light turnout. This means more instruction, more open 
track, and lots more miles.  

The chapter needs a head count, so sign up now if you want to go.  
See you there.  BTW, if anyone in the Utah area sees this and decides 
to go, write to me privately, as I may have some room in my 
truck/trailer for your tires.  Also, I have a heavy duty M3 tire 
trailer and hitch for sale for about $450.
