Dave Heckendorf asks about nose masks.

I ordered a Colgan Custom bra for my '96 328is last summer.  Worth every
penny.  I got the full, 2 piece unit.  In fact, early this summer I bought
the mirror bras too.  The regular bra is really good quality.
Unfortuneately, the mirror bras aren't as good - I think they were old stock
because the insert only mentioned '92 to '94 3 series.

Besides protecting your paint from rock chips, they take the brunt of the
insect onslaught, so you don't have to wash your car after 14 hours on the
highway.

I would recommend getting the full, 2 piece unit, rather than the hood only
version.  The hood only version doesn't protect the front of your car from
rocks;  it only reduces the amount of insects on the windshield.

The mirror bras are quite a stretch for most people, even for me.  But now I
don't have a million mosquitos on my mirrors, while the rest of the car is
clean.

I don't have any experience with the BMW, BMP or 3M offerings.
