What kind of car are we talking about here?
If you're changing oil on a Bosch injected car (L-Jet or Motronic), you can
build pressure with the starter by disconnecting the coil wire, pushing the
gas pedal all the way to the floor (activates the flood-clear mode so no
fuel is injected) and crank until the pressure comes up.
