[alfa] 115 gtv braking issue

Richard Welty comments: "...when i depress the pedal, it comes up feeing
much harder than usual with a much shorter throw. after a couple of
stops in this condition, it goes back to normal (for some value of
normal.)"

Do you have snow yet and do you use the emergency brake? Purely guessing
here (as usual) but assuming you do have snow and do use your emergency
brake, my theoretical situation goes like this: Snow gets kicked into
the brake system, melts because the brake is hot, but re-freezes
overnight. You, of course undo the emergency brake handle before
leaving, but the emergency brake is essentially still on since it is
frozen in place. A little heat melts the ice, and the brakes and pedal
go back to 'normal'.

Easy to test of course by just leaving it in gear overnight without the
emergency brake on.
