[alfa] Moose test
Many thanks for the post about the collision avoidance Elk test which is in
truth far more important than the collision survival test.
I recently (as in yesterday) had this brought to my attention when
returning from Vancouver (at the end of a 1,000 km drive) in my 97 SAAB
Aero. The very first time I have encountered a Moose, when passing through
Banff Park on my way home. He at least had the decency to wait at the edge
of the highway before attempting to cross or I would have tested at least
one of my SAAB's Moose survival features, and possibly both.
Let me assure you that a full grown Moose standing in the dark beside the
highway is a truly awesome spectacle when viewed in the grey light of your
headlights!
I believe the Alfa Romeo 164 would do well in either or both Elk tests.....
Cheers everyone.
