I know my Quad has been running on Diesel oil since day one. The PO took it to
Ferrari of Seattle for all of the service and they use Shell Rotella Synth
Blend exclusively. So the car has 96k on it and doesn't leak or burn any oil.
It must be working. Cat seems fine I passed Emissions with flying colors
