[alfa] RE:GTV6 is chirping

Darren,
It sounds like the bracket that holds up the exhaust in the front may be
contacting its mating surface and chirping. There should be a tab off the
size near or on the cat that goes to a hangar, I would check that.

Subject: [alfa] GTV6 is chirping

I know this is the worst type of request for help because it's so generic
and
there's so little information, but I am learning to fix things on this car
one
at a time, please be gentle! ...

Somewhere near and in front of the catalytic converter and definitely down
low, I start to hear metallic chirping sounds. Not buzzing heat shield
stuff.
Varies with engine speed, only seems to happen during cold start and cold
driving (for now).
I had just recently removed the starter to have it reconditioned and the
installation came together without a hitch. There were no apparent missing
teeth in the flywheel and no damage on the gear from the starter. Recently,
there was a short time where the car was started and stopped without the
clutch pedal depressed so I don't know if this action could have shaken
something up a bit.

Has anyone experienced this or can give a good pointer on what to check for
next?

Thanks in advance,
Darren
