[alfa] Repairing spider elec mirror base

Does anyone have a "solid" trick for repairing the pot metal base on a power
mirror for the spider?  The setscrew threads on mine are shot, and from years
of closing the door, the hole has enlarged.  Pretty much junk now.  Any
tips/help/advice appreciated, or maybe you know where to find a replacement
base?
