RE: [alfa] Fumes in Spider cockpit



Hi Charles!
On an '86 Spider, I would expect to see see a lot of junk (wet rotting 
leaves & such) under the front cowl at the base of the windshield 
where the air intakes are. These can be generating some quite noxious
fumes as you drive. Remove that cowling (see the archives for
instructions), clean out the junk and blow compressed air thru
the drain tubes. Also check carefully for rust spots that may be
letting water drip onto the front floor mats.
