[alfa] Clutch Master Cylinder Rebuild Questions- 69 Spider

Hi All,

It looks like I am working on needing my 3rd clutch master cylinder in 6
years (for a 69 spider). The car is driven ever other day and about 15K
per year. I do not ride the clutch. The "free-play" has been correctly
adjusted. The clutch slave cylinder, hose and master cylinder were
replaced in '98. Every thing worked great until 2000 when I need a master
cylinder again.

I am getting the same symptoms again, very little peddle pressure even
after repeated bleeding, and you can barely get it into gear. The bleeder
screw on the slave cylinder is correctly oriented on top, and it appears
that I get all the bubbles out when I bleed the line.

Any suggestions or ideas on what is going on here? I am going to start by
replacing the hose again, but it looks like new so I doubt this will be a
miracle cure.
